Introduction to hot rolled seamless steel pipe:
Hot rolled seamless steel pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe, and its classification is based on the production method. Hot rolling and cold rolling are two different processes. Cold rolling is a rolling process carried out at room temperature, while hot rolling is carried out above the recrystallisation temperature of the metal. Seamless steel pipe is opposed to welded steel pipe in that the former is usually made by perforating round steel and then processing it, while the latter is made from steel plates through different welding methods.
Hot rolled seamless steel pipe classification:
It mainly includes ordinary steel pipe, low and medium pressure boiler pipe, high pressure boiler pipe, alloy pipe, stainless steel pipe, petroleum cracking pipe, geological pipe and so on.
The outer diameter is usually larger than 38mm and the wall thickness ranges from 2.5-75mm.
They are usually used in construction, machinery manufacturing, fluid conveying and other scenarios.
The delivery condition is usually in hot rolled condition or after heat treatment.
